After a thorough safety briefing covering riding techniques and local traffic rules, we’ll set off to explore the beautiful contrast between Hanoi’s urban and rural environments.

🟢 Part 2: Long Bien Bridge and Countryside Ride
Our journey begins by crossing the historic Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi’s oldest bridge built during the French colonial era. From this vantage point, enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Red River and explore the lush vegetable gardens and farmland on the nearby island. We then pedal along peaceful riverbank trails, witnessing local farmers tending to their fields and stopping to visit a bonsai family to learn about the traditional art of bonsai cultivation.

Next, we explore a bustling wet market where you’ll get to sample fresh, exotic tropical fruits. At Lotus Lake, refresh yourself with sugarcane juice or other local beverages. Continuing along rustic paths, we arrive at the historic Co Loa Ancient Citadel, dating back to 200 BC, where you’ll hear stories of the legendary King An Duong Vuong and his defense of this ancient fortress.

Trip style: This tour is offered on a “join-in” basis. However you can request for a private tour with small surcharge.

Distance: This tour includes cycling 45 km on flat roads, back-roads to the outskirts of Hanoi. Our ride will require a basic level of physical fitness and you should be comfortable with riding bicycle.
