ITINERARY: Hanoi Vespa Food Tours Led By Women
🟢 Stage 1: Welcome & Safety Briefing (18:00 or 13:00)
Your Hanoi adventure kicks off as our welcoming female guides greet you right at your hotel. They’ll provide a thorough safety briefing to ensure you’re comfortable and confident riding one of our smooth, eco-friendly Honda Lead Scooters. Alongside the safety tips, you’ll get a concise overview of the day’s exciting plan. Once you’re ready, hop on your scooter and prepare to glide effortlessly through the vibrant streets of Hanoi.
🟢 Stage 2: Banh Cuon Tasting
Our first stop takes us to a beloved local café famous for its Banh Cuon — delicate steamed rice rolls filled with savory pork and mushrooms. Here, you’ll have the chance to watch the chef expertly prepare this traditional dish right before your eyes, revealing the artistry behind each silky layer. After sampling these flavorful rolls, we’ll ride through the lively, lantern-lit streets of the Old Quarter, absorbing the energy of vendors, cyclists, and locals winding down their day. The ride continues along the serene Red River, offering beautiful nighttime views of Hanoi’s shimmering skyline.
🟢 Stage 3: Bun Cha & West Lake
Next, we head to a charming family-run restaurant to enjoy a hearty serving of Bun Cha — grilled pork paired with vermicelli noodles and fresh herbs, a true Hanoi classic. With your appetite satisfied, we embark on a scenic ride around West Lake, the city’s largest and most peaceful lake, dotted with temples and cafes along its shores. Our journey then takes us to Ngu Xa Hamlet, a quaint village where you’ll savor freshly grilled fish, aromatic Pho, refreshing banana salad, and other authentic Vietnamese dishes, allowing you to taste the diverse flavors of rural Hanoi.
🟢 Stage 4: Ho Chi Minh Memorial & Train Street
We continue by passing the iconic Ho Chi Minh Memorial, where you’ll witness the solemn nightly guard ceremony — an evocative tribute to Vietnam’s revered leader. Afterwards, we make our way to the famous Train Street, a bustling neighborhood where active train tracks weave through a narrow residential street. Here, locals live, work, and socialize mere steps from the passing trains, creating a uniquely vibrant atmosphere that showcases Hanoi’s lively urban culture.
🟢 Stage 5: Egg Coffee & Dessert Surprise
To cap off the evening, we visit a popular local café for a taste of Hanoi’s signature egg coffee — a luscious blend of rich espresso, velvety whipped egg yolks, and sweetened condensed milk. Paired with a secret dessert available only to our tour guests, this indulgent treat offers the perfect sweet finish to your Hanoi culinary journey. It’s a memorable finale that captures the warmth and flavor of the city’s food traditions.
